미국  직업별 전문가를 찾아 주는 사이트로인 엑스퍼티스(Expertise)는 텍사스주 휴스턴 지역 탐정기업 551개 중 Top 19를 선정했다.

엑스퍼티스는 가용성(Availability), 자격(Qualifications), 평판(Reputation), 경험(Experience), 전문성(Professionalism) 등 핵심 평가 요소 5가지와 하위 변수 25개로 대상 기업을 평가했다.

선정된 Top 19는 A True P.I. Private Investigator, LLC, ACTA-PANNELL, Advanced Investigative & Screening Solutions, Aenigma Group, AMS Houston Private Investigators 순이다.

또한 CDI Investigations LLC, Champions Investigations, LLC, E-Investigations, Gradoni & Associates, HC Investigations Inc., International Specialized Investigations, Investigative Resources 등이 포함됐다.

Keys Investigations, Leatherneck Investigations, My Armor Services, Inc., Panoramic Investigations, Texas Investigative Network, Inc., The Investigative Firm, Wilson Investigations도 순위에 올랐다.

미국 노동부에 따르면 텍사스주에서 2019~2021년까지 3년간 공인 탐정의 수가 평균 300명씩 늘어날 것으로 예상된다. 참고로 텍사스주 오스틴 지역에만 약 200여개의 탐정 기업이 위치해 있다.
